Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifespan, from birth onward, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. You will work within organizational policies and coordinate care with assigned staff to maintain high standards.

Education: nursing program graduation required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: new grads eligible; 1 year hospital experience for PRN positions preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions required.
• RN - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Function within organization policies and procedures and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
• Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
