Job summary

Spectrum Health's Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the 4S Neuro unit. You will deliver professional nursing care to general neurology and neurosurgical patients, many with complex needs including post-craniotomy and spine surgery cases, across a 44-bed unit.

Responsibilities follow ANA standards and the nursing process, with emphasis on assessment, planning, and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required; Bachelors in Nursing required within 5 years.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• AHA/ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care within ANA standards and the nursing process.
• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care for neuro patients.
• Collaborates with care teams on complex neurology and neurosurgery cases.
