Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is actively seeking a dedicated staff nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while coordinating the activities of all assigned staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires a current Georgia RN license (or NLC/eNCL) and BLS. Depending on the unit, ACLS, PALS, or other certifications may be needed within six months of start date.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNCL multistate license required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• 1 year hospital setting experience required for PRN positions.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• ACLS/PALS/other certifications may be required within 6 months depending on unit (see addendum).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Hold standards of practice, coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff, and ensure delivery of quality nursing care.
• Work within organizational policies and procedures and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
