Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using established nursing processes, working within organizational policies and procedures.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure, BCLS, and clinical competence. Some units may require additional certifications within 6 months of start date.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• RN - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNLC Multistate Licensure (Required)
• BCLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
• Advanced certifications may be required within 6 months depending on specialty (see addendum)

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff to deliver quality nursing care.
