Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City, MO seeks a Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist to assist in diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic radiologic imaging. You will work in sterile field settings and participate in on-call coverage to ensure patient care needs are met.

The role requires a High School Graduate, with preferred associate degrees in radiologic, cardiovascular, or vascular technology; current BLS, ARRT licensure, and state licensure; and strong

Qualifications

• High School Graduate is required.
• Associates degree options in radiologic or cardiovascular/vascular fields are preferred.
• Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology is a plus.
• Must maintain licensure and life support certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist during physician supervised procedures with sterile preparation of access areas and supplies.
• Document use of contrast material and patient charges.
• Maintain competency for radiologic imaging across vascular, spinal, chest, abdomen, pelvis and extremity procedures.
• Complete mandatory educational assignments and follow organizational policies on safety and confidentiality.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and provide coverage as needed.
