Job summary

Northwestern Medicine seeks a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join the Neuro Interventional Radiology team. This APP will provide a blend of ambulatory and inpatient care, supporting Neurointerventional Radiology patients through pre- and post-procedure visits and ongoing outpatient management.

Responsibilities include performing exams, ordering tests, collaborating with physicians, and contributing to education for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited program and licensure as an APRN or Physician Assistant.
• Acute care certification is required; inpatient experience preferred.
• Current Illinois RN/APRN license and national certification as APRN/PA.

Responsibilities

• Provide ambulatory and inpatient care for Neuro Interventional Radiology patients.
• Perform pre- and post-procedure visits and outpatient management.
• Prescribe medications and order tests per privileges; document care.
• Participate in on-call rotation and quality improvement initiatives.
