Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta seeks a Registered Nurse with neuro ICU experience to provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care across settings. You will coordinate care, educate patients and families, and leverage information systems to support safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires an ADN (BSN preferred), current Georgia RN license, BLS, and ACLS certification within 90 days for specified areas.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is strongly preferred.
• Neuro ICU Experience is required.
• Neuro IR Experience is preferred.
• One or more years' experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
• Specific area of specialty experience is preferred.
• Current Georgia license as a Registered Nurse is required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS health care provider card is required.
• ACLS Certification is required for all specified areas; new graduates must obtain within 90 days of employment.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse, provides age-appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive care, maintains a safe environment, educates patients and their families about healthy practices and treatment modalities, assures continuity of care, coordinates care across settings and among caregivers, manages information, communicates effectively, and utilizes technology.
