Job summary

Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Neuro Interventional Radiology Nurse to lead assessment and care planning for acutely ill adults in Imaging Services. You will advocate for patients, maintain high safety standards, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care.

This full-time role requires 2+ years in Critical Care/ED, a BSN, and AZ RN licensure with BLS and ACLS within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of Critical Care or Emergency Department experience.
• BSN required.
• Registered Nurse: AZ.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment of patient/family health problems and resources in Imaging Services.
• Develop, implement and evaluate comprehensive nursing care plans for acutely ill adults.
• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care and advocate for patients and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and delegate tasks as appropriate.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Neuro Interventional Radiology Nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center, you willassume a leadership role in assessing patient/family health problems and resources, with a primary focus on developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive nursing care plans for acutely ill adult patient populations in our Imaging Services department. This position requires providing service to diverse age groups, from young adults to geriatric patients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their functional and developmental needs.

Every day you willprovide comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care, organizing and prioritizing patient activities while maintaining a balance between patient needs and comfort. You will serve as a dedicated patient advocate, utilizing holistic care practices and skillfully adapting to changes in patient conditions, such as abnormal lab results or vital signs.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, strong computer literacy, and the ability to recognize your scope of practice, seeking multidisciplinary collaboration when appropriate. Your capacity to assume accountability for decisions, partner with others to drive positive outcomes, and effectively delegate tasks will be crucial in this dynamicNuclear Medicinenursing role, where patient satisfaction and ethical practice are paramount.
