Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Virginia RN license required.
• AHA Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
• 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive bedside care for patients requiring step‑down neurologic monitoring.
• Perform frequent, detailed neurologic assessments and escalate changes in condition.
• Manage patients with complex neurologic diagnoses across CNS tumors, stroke, spine, and neurocritical care scenarios.
• Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, and neurocritical care teams to coordinate care plans.
• Administer medications and therapies with precision in a specialized neuro environment.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery expectations, and long‑term neurologic care needs.
• Contribute to a team culture built on communication, accountability, and continuous learning.
