Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a registered nurse for the Neuro IMC unit (16 beds) in Gainesville, GA. The RN will deliver intermediate care for stroke patients and other neurological conditions with a focus on safety, critical thinking, and family education.

The role requires GA RN licensure, an ADN or diploma, and 0–1 year of RN experience or new grad orientation. BSN preferred. Strong teamwork and communication are essential for success in this high-acuity unit.

Qualifications

• Georgia RN license is required.
• “ADN or Diploma” is required for this role.
• BSN is preferred for higher advancement.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care on an intermediate care unit.
• 3 Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning.
• 4 Document assessments, plans, and patient progress per NGHS standards.
