Job summary

Advocate Health’s Carolinas Medical Center Neurosurgery ICU is seeking a part-time RN for the 9L Neurosurgery ICU. 24 hours per week with shifts 0700-1930, weekend program (Sat/Sun) and rotating holidays.

Requires accredited nursing program completion, 6 months RN experience, and state RN license with BLS certification. The NSICU unit has 29 beds, private rooms, and advanced monitoring, with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new grads.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
