Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced RN for the Neuroscience Center (6 West) at the Main Campus in Cleveland, OH. You will provide advanced neurological nursing care in a 24-bed unit, including critical care monitoring and complex patient management.

Responsibilities include detailed neuro assessments, ICP monitoring, medication titration, and ventilator/telemetry support. Opportunities include ongoing education and stroke-focused competencies in a landmark Level One Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider.

Responsibilities

• Detailed neurological assessments.
• ICP Monitoring.
• Medication titration.
• Managing surgical drains, mechanical ventilators, body temperature, and CRRT.
• Neurological patient care; NIHSS Certification for Stroke care.
• Telemetry monitoring.
