Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Neuroscience Center, 6 West, on a 24-bed unit focused on stroke and neurological care. You will perform detailed neuro assessments, monitor critical devices, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS certification, and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Trauma Center environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers (or within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurological nursing care on a 24-bed unit.
• Monitor ICP, mechanical ventilation, body temperature, CRRT, and related devices.
• Perform medication titration and patient assessments with NIHSS Stroke care.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to support patient and family needs.
