Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an experienced ICU nurse to join our neurologic care unit. This part-time role offers two 12-hour day shifts each week with every 3rd weekend, and a sign-on bonus may apply for experienced critical care nurses.

The ICU focuses on stroke, post-op neurosurgery, and complex monitoring in a 20-bed unit. Active Kentucky license and BCLS/ACLS credentials are required, with ACLS timelines specified.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky License required.
• BCLS required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS required within six months for experienced staff nurses and within one year for new graduate nurses.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patient needs in the ICU and implement appropriate interventions.
• Establish and maintain a plan for delivering nursing care and ensure interventions align with patient needs.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking and serve as a resource to patients and families through the critical care journey.
