Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Medical Neuro ICU at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. The 32-bed unit features advanced monitoring and renal replacement technology, with a multimodal orientation program including online education, lectures, and simulation.

The RN will provide direct patient care in collaboration with the care team, uphold standards, and maintain MA RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Board of Registration in Nursing Examination passed and licensed in Massachusetts.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
• Education: ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care according to patient needs.
• Assumes responsibility for the patient’s plan of care and related decisions.
• Provides care directly to patients and in collaboration with the health care team.
• Complies with regulatory and accrediting bodies and maintains MA RN license.
