Job summary

UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neuro ICU team. This 90% FTE role follows a 7:00 pm–7:30 am schedule with weekend rotations and holiday requirements, offering competitive shift differentials and comprehensive benefits.

The neuro ICU cares for adults with neuro conditions such as stroke, brain injury, seizures, and more using ICP management, EEG and advanced imaging, in a collaborative, high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Six months nursing experience or current participation in UW Health’s Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit required.
• Relevant RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient neurocritical care for critically ill adults in a high-acuity unit.
• Utilize ICP management, EEG and advanced neuroimaging as part of patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective patient care.
