Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required.

• If prepared at the associate degree level, enroll in a BSN program within 12 months of hire and complete within 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Clinical: identifies current and potential complex problems and plans appropriate interventions.
• Collaborates with nurse leaders and colleagues to develop standards of care.
• Develops and documents a care plan for patients with highly complex needs.
• Identifies and evaluates short- and long-range goals of nursing interventions.
• Acts as a patient advocate by communicating clinical concerns to the health care team.
• Documents patient information integrating nursing assessment with pathophysiology and treatment.
• Coordinates care to ensure safety and quality while promoting a positive patient experience.
• Participates in interdisciplinary care planning and quality improvement activities.

Education

Associate's degree in Nursing
