Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to apply the nursing process and deliver patient care with accountability and clinical excellence.

The travel RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, respond to physiologic and psychosocial changes, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications include an active RN license, current health certificate, PPD or Chest X-Ray, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and Neuro ICU experience preferred; Amergis screening is required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• The physical ability and perceptual acuity to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care functions.
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively use the nursing process.
• Minimum of one year Neuro ICU (RN) experience within the last three years preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS card (per facility or contract requirement).
• Successful completion of the Amergis screening for the clinical specialty area(s) in which the RN practices.

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
