Job summary

Cleveland Clinic's Neuro Intensive Care Unit is a 24-bed academic program seeking a Physician Assistant (Acute Care certified) with neurocritical care or ICU experience. New grads with extensive ICU experience will be considered; the role includes admitting/discharging and ICU procedures, with rotating shifts and potential straight nights.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team across neurosurgery, neurology, critical care and pharmacy to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARC-approved Physician Assistant Program.
• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies and/or higher.
• Current NCCPA certification and state license.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conducts medical histories and examinations; develops treatment plans with the care team.
• Prescribes and monitors medications where licensed.
• Collaborates with neurosurgery, neurology, and ICU staff for patient care.
• Educates patients and families about diagnoses and treatments.
• Participates in rounds and discharge planning.
