By joining our team, you will co-direct the national Neuroscience collaborative for CommonSpirit Health - the second-largest healthcare system in the country - and benefit from tight collaborations with partners like Baylor St. Luke's and the Barrow Neurological Institute.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Neurologist, preferably with fellowship training in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert inpatient neurological care, with a specialized focus on epilepsy management and EEG interpretation.
  • Collaborating with the general neurology team to manage a high volume of complex epilepsy and neurological cases.
  • Coordinating care with the stroke management team to ensure seamless patient transitions and outcomes.
  • Utilizing exceptional clinical research support through the Chattanooga Center for Neurologic Research, a world leader in the execution of acute stroke research including artificial intelligence, device, stem cell and other pharma clinical trails, and the Neuroscience Innovation Foundation, a private Chattanooga-based non-profit.
  • Participating in Academic & Growth Opportunities, including teaching and/or research on a local, regional, or national level.
  • Fostering strong collaborations on clinical and research protocols nationally through our direct tie to CommonSpirit Health.
  • Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records and adhering to the highest standards of neurological care.
