Job summary

Emerson Hospital in Massachusetts seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to join its Neuro/Cognitive team. Reporting to the Speech Pathology Supervisor, the SLP will provide comprehensive care to patients with TBI, concussion and other neurological disorders in an interdisciplinary setting.

Ideal candidate has 3+ years of neuro-related experience, ASHA CCC, MA licensure, and BLS certification within 4 months. No clinical fellowship applicants.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology required.
• Three years of Neuro/Cognitive Speech Pathologist experience preferred.
• MA state licensure required; CCC by ASHA required; BLS within 4 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Speech Pathology Supervisor, the SLP is responsible for providing comprehensive care to our patients with TBI, concussion and other neurological disorders in an interdisciplinary team setting. Ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience and demonstrate specific expertise working with the neurological patient population. No clinical fellowship applicants. ASHA certified and MA state license required.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology required.

Experience

• Three years of experience as a Neuro/Cognitive Speech Pathologist strongly preferred.

Licensure and/or Certification

• Current licensure to practice speech therapy in Massachusetts required.
• C.C.C. by the American Speech, Hearing & Language Association required.
• BLS required within 4 months from hire.
