Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Monitors patient's neurological status using specialized equipment.
  • Records and analyzes data obtained to ensure the integrity of the nervous system.
  • Communicates with the surgical team to provide real-time feedback on the patient's neurological status.
  • Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs routine maintenance to ensure proper functioning.
  • Maintains accurate records of procedures and patient information.
  • Follows established safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.

Education Requirement

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences or related field, prefered.

Licensure Requirement

Certifications

  • Registered by the American Board of Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists or a technician eligible for registration, required.
  • CPR certification, required.
  • Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring, preferred.
