Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center's Neurosurgery unit is seeking a qualified RN for a part-time night shift (7pm–7am), PRN. This role focuses on comprehensive neurological patient care in a 23-bed Progressive Care Unit.

You will provide evidence-based nursing care for stroke, spine, seizure patients and other neuro conditions. Required qualifications include an accredited nursing program completion, an active RN license in the state, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
