RNs in this role have a consistent weekday schedule with no on-call, weekend or holiday commitments. The position supports pre-op, intraoperative and recovery areas with cross-training in infusion services, offering a diverse and rewarding nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS Certification within six months of hire (areas performing moderate sedation/cardiac stress).
• One year of recent RN or related clinical experience in ambulatory or equivalent setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify physician or LIP of abnormal findings.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and specialized patient care equipment.
• Educate patients and families on health education and care plans.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and procedures as needed.
