Penn Color, Inc. is seeking an Operator at our Hatfield, PA facility to join a hands-on Production team. You’ll load and operate vessels and mills, set up equipment, monitor batch status, and help ensure consistent quality and safe operation.

Responsibilities

• Load and operate vessels and mills to ensure quality and safe operation.
• Set up equipment and adjust process controls according to batch card specifications.
• Inspect and clean vessels, mills, tools, and work areas before and after production.
• Monitor batch status using computer systems and identify deviations.
• Record production and process data for traceability and performance tracking.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Collect product samples and deliver to Quality Control for testing.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials and finished goods.
• Weigh raw materials and containers to meet production specifications.

What You’ll Do

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

This role is performed in a manufacturing environment and requires:

• Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, volatile materials, and moving machinery
• Standing and walking for most of an 8-hour shift, with frequent reaching and handling of materials
• Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Regular lifting up to 50 lbs. and frequent lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Routine use of hand tools, air-powered tools, milling equipment, and cleaning solvents
• Strict adherence to PPE due to potentially hazardous conditions
