Axxys Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Networking Solutions Expert to provide technical skills across various networking disciplines, including Cisco routing and switching. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, with CCNA preferred and CCNP as a plus. Join our Technical Services department and report directly to the Vice President of Technical Operations.

Qualifications

Job Description

The Networking Solutions Expert will provide technical skills covering a broad range of networking disciplines including Cisco routing and switching, wireless and security products such as ASA/NGFW Firepower. The technician will assist the technical support team in implementing and upgrading foundational networking systems in client facilities and will be involved in pre-sales engagements with clients or prospective organizations in evaluating and designing collaboration solutions alongside Account Executives and Sales & Marketing teams.

The technician must work on several small to large deployments in parallel while maintaining high customer satisfaction, achieving project timelines and milestones, and communicating effectively with key personnel in the facility, markets, divisions, and vendors.

General Responsibilities

• Evaluate and consult on network design and configuration
• Execute pre-sales functions (bill of materials, statement of work, estimate of hours)
• Deploy systems
• Define monitoring requirements based on criticality
• Assist in troubleshooting systems
• Configure local and remote network connectivity
• Troubleshoot performance issues
• Work with third-party vendors/partners
• Implement and support Cisco-based networking products and supporting technologies
• Facilitate the resolution of gaps between user requirements and solution standards
• Deploy switches, routers, firewalls

Qualifications

3-5 years of applicable work experience is required.

CCNA – preferred

CCNP – a plus
