Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior Networking Software Engineer to design, develop and implement advanced networking software components using Golang. You will hands-on engineer routing, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN features while maintaining high code quality and reliable service behavior.

You will participate in Agile/Scrum delivery with 2-week sprints and collaborate with teams through Jira, Confluence and Git/GitLab, including branch-based workflows and CI/CD automation and testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on networking development experience with routing, DNS, DHCP and VLANs.
• Golang development experience.
• 3+ years of Scrum software development with 2-week sprints; familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Git/GitLab, CI/CD and testing tools.

Job Title: Senior Networking Software Engineer

Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite)

Pay Range: 50-55 W2

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and implement networking software components including routing, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs with true hands-on engineering experience.
• Build and maintain networking services using Golang, ensuring reliable behavior and maintainable code.
• Contribute to Agile/Scrum delivery using 2-week sprint cycles, supporting rapid iteration and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering teams using Jira, Confluence, and Git/GitLab, including effective source code management with branches.
• Support software quality through CI/CD pipelines, automation testing, and static code analysis while applying object-oriented design principles and interfaces.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on networking development experience with routing, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs (not just knowledge).
• Golang development experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with Scrum software development processes with rapid iteration cycles (2-week sprints), plus familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git/GitLab, CI/CD, automation testing tools, and static code analysis.
