Experis Technology Group in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior Networking Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver hands-on networking software components, including routing, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs, with a strong emphasis on robust Golang code and real-world networking experience.

You will join an Agile/Scrum team, contribute to CI/CD, collaborate with Jira/Confluence/GitLab, and help drive rapid iterations every two weeks while maintaining clean interfaces and testable, scalable networking

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on networking development experience with routing, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.

Our client is seeking a Networking Software Engineer to join their team. As a Networking Software Engineer, you will be part of the engineering organization supporting networking software development and delivery. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on networking development experience, strong Golang skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in Agile/Scrum teams with rapid iteration cycles.

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and implement networking software components including routing, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs with true hands‑on engineering experience.
• Build and maintain networking services using Golang, ensuring reliable behavior and maintainable code.
• Contribute to Agile/Scrum delivery using 2-week sprint cycles, supporting rapid iteration and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering teams using Jira, Confluence, and Git/GitLab, including effective source code management with branches.
• Support software quality through CI/CD pipelines, automation testing, and static code analysis while applying object‑oriented design principles and interfaces.

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands‑on networking development experience with routing, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs (not just knowledge).
• Golang development experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with Scrum software development processes with rapid iteration cycles (2-week sprints), plus familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git/GitLab, CI/CD, automation testing tools, and static code analysis.
