Job summary

NVIDIA in Austin, TX is seeking a Network Field Application Engineer to join the OEM FAE team. You will validate networking tech across NICs, DPUs, switches, and DOCA software, bridging hardware builds with system-level validation.

The role requires hands-on testing, debugging, and cross-team collaboration, with base salaries described and equity and benefits on offer. This is a full-time role in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of relevant professional experience.
Deep knowledge of high-speed protocols and hardware interfaces (PCIe, RDMA/RoCE, I2C, SPI, UART, I2S).
Experience with OEM Server Hardware and release processes.
Firmware validation and independent problem-solving for complex issues.
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

Drive functional, regression, and stress tests for networking and GPU tech in OEM servers.
Lead hands-on debugging and firmware validation for new server generations.
Integrate hardware and software to automate end-to-end testing.
Lead weekly issue scrubs to resolve blockers and customer concerns.
Provide onsite technical support and maintain lab readiness.
