Are you passionate about technology? Are you looking to build a sales career at an established, strong, and evolving company? As a Sales Specialist at Cisco, you'll play a pivotal role in the sales process and work with the Network portfolio of technology products.

A successful Networking Account Executive will collaborate with Cisco Account Managers, Systems Engineers, Technical Leaders, Sales Managers, and Partners to plan sales strategies, develop proposals, deliver customer presentations/demos, and close deals. Technical sales experience is required. This position covers our North Central and Twin Cities area.

Your Impact

In this role, you will facilitate the success of Cisco sales teams in selling Networking products and technologies (SDWAN, SDAccess, Routing, Switching, WLAN, Meraki) with measurable sales objectives for your regions.

  • You will identify opportunities quickly, manage relationships effectively, prioritize opportunities, and serve as a trusted consultant and mentor to salespeople, committed to improving team competency.
  • You will develop a business plan to meet and exceed your quota, plan sales strategies, develop proposals, deliver customer presentations, and close deals.
  • You will help advance the Central Commercial Networking sales team, making our customers' lives better and easier.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of sales experience in Networking, including switching, wireless, and network security technologies.
  • Proven track record in managing and winning major strategic opportunities, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in multi-level selling, with comfort influencing CxO, IT Managers, Purchasing, etc.
Preferred Qualifications

You are a Networking Account Executive responsible for selling Networking technologies. You will support Cisco account teams in selling Enterprise Networking, Wireless, and Digital Network Architecture technologies related to your expertise, with measurable sales objectives. This is a specialist position on the US Networking team.

  • Technical software sales experience is preferred.
  • Ability to handle long and complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and organizational levels (account managers, technical leaders, partners, channels, etc.).
  • A solution sales approach is required over a product-specific approach.
  • Must work well in teams and create outcomes where everyone benefits.
  • Passion for driving strategies, with demonstrated leadership skills in a complex matrix organization.
  • Willingness to travel locally and occasionally overnight.
