Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Solutions Engineer for Supply Chain Network Solutions to drive end-to-end design and implementation. You will lead cross-functional efforts, translate complex concepts for stakeholders, and act as a technology thought leader within the vendor community.

The role emphasizes ROI modeling, data analytics, simulation, and collaboration across Operations, IT, and Finance to deliver network-wide improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Supply Chain Engineering or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred, 5+ years of progressive experience in solutions design, supply chain engineering, or logistics strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the solution development process from ideation to final design for Network initiatives.
• Define and lead the technology strategy, engaging vendors and performing feasibility studies.
• Develop business cases with ROI and TCO analyses for capital investments.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure solutions meet network-wide performance goals.
• Use data analytics, simulation, and network modeling to validate concepts.
