Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Financial Analyst II to oversee standard controllership across our US inbound operations network, spanning over 100 sites. This role partners with senior leaders, leads monthly reviews, and drives process improvements that impact cost to serve at scale.

You will work with data from multiple sites, develop insights, and champion savings opportunities while maintaining strong financial controls across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of finance or related analytical field experience.
• Experience with data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
• CMA or CPA certification preferred.
• Knowledge of COSO internal control framework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead standard controllership processes and financial review cycles for the entire inbound operations network across 100+ sites.
• Coordinate monthly finance review processes for all network levels and prepare executive-level documentation for senior leadership.
• Drive continuous process improvements by establishing standard work, audits, and root-cause analyses to improve cost to serve.
• Analyze large datasets from multiple sites to generate clear reporting and narratives for data-driven decision making.
