At Lockheed Martin, our Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) National Team (C2NT) is pioneering the development and integration of cutting-edge technologies to advance the Missile Defense System, safeguarding the United States and its allies. Our collaborative and agile organization operates in a fast-paced environment, driving innovation through tasks such as sensor/weapon integration, algorithm development, user interface development, automated testing, cyber security, enterprise/infrastructure services, and enhancing leading-edge missile defense technologies.

The Work
- Plan, deploy, integrate, and test upgrades to the C2BMC network to operational sites
- Travel to remote locations to lead and perform network installations, independently perform troubleshooting, and provide status updates to Program personnel
- Collaborate with other highly motivated network engineers as well as work independently on large field projects
- Develop and maintain virtualization design, development, and testing methodologies
- Troubleshoot and resolve virtual machine performance issues
- Create VM deployment templates and automated deployments
- Work with Agile Framework and apply Agile fundamentals in engineer-focused work

You have a passion for virtualization and network engineering. You have hands-on experience with VMware, ESX servers, NetApp NAS/SAN, Windows servers, and SQL servers. You are an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills, and you thrive in a team environment. You are also comfortable working independently on large field projects and have experience with Agile Framework.

- Top Secret Clearance is a plus
- Authentication and encryption methods/capabilities (ACS, Active Directory, GEM-X)

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
