Job Title: Network Transformation Engineer

Location: USA (Field-Based, can be based anywhere in the US)

Type: Freelance/Contract

Our client, a global leader in automation and intralogistics, is seeking skilled and innovative Project Engineers to lead the transformation of their machine network to a new architectural framework. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless migration with minimal disruption to operations while aligning with their long-term strategic goals. The ideal candidate must have an understanding of networking, exceptional problem-solving skills, and experience in large-scale infrastructure changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute machine network conversions to the new architecture, ensuring minimal downtime and operational continuity.
• Support the rollout of the new network architecture within designated sites.
• Conduct pre-requisite and post-migration testing to ensure performance, reliability, and security standards are met.
• Configure and troubleshoot network hardware and software components as part of the transition process.
• Develop and refine detailed documentation of standard operating procedures for the migration process.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Act as the technical point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing technical concerns.
