Job summary

Systems Technology Forum LTD (STF) in Fort Meade, MD seeks a Network Test Engineer for the DISA program. You will design, test, implement, and support end-to-end network solutions including voice, data, and encryption devices.

The role requires 5 years of routing and IP design experience, HAIPE devices, and a Secret clearance; you will prepare test plans, reports, and support Tier III incident response.

Qualifications

• 5 years, strong routing protocols and IP network design.
• Type 1 HAIPE encryption devices and secure tokens.
• Laboratory testing and MS Office proficiency.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical discipline.
• IAT Level II or higher certification; Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, implement and maintain network engineering solutions.
• Provide documentation for Change Boards (CCB) and configuration control.
• Support interoperability requirements for DoD networks and partners.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, voice gateways and UC managers.
• Apply patches and security updates to maintain performance and security.
• Develop test plans, reports, and deployment instructions; provide Tier III support.
