Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking engineers to develop and execute test procedures for complex space-network components. You will integrate software, containers, and graphical elements within a dedicated testbed, and document comprehensive test plans.

The role covers HIL/SIL testing, regression testing, and automated frameworks, plus API testing with RESTful and gRPC interfaces. Strong Python and Linux skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related technical field preferred.
• Experience with network testbeds and software integrations is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Python and Linux-based test environments desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test procedures for network and software components within a space network field experimentation testbed.
• Integrate and test software components, containers, custom programs, and graphical elements within the testbed.
• Develop, execute, and document comprehensive test plans.
• Perform hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing.
• Perform regression testing and develop automated test frameworks.
• Conduct API testing and integration using RESTful APIs, gRPC, YANG models, and related technologies.
• Analyze network traffic and troubleshoot network and software issues using packet analysis tools.
• Develop Python programs and Bash/Shell scripts to support test automation and system testing.
• Maintain test documentation, results, and technical records.
