We are an established IT Consulting company and MSP with over 20 years in business. We provide technical support, integrations, and consulting services to commercial businesses. We are seeking a Network Technician & System Administrator who is eager to learn and grow within our organization. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, personable, and possess a positive attitude. Ability to work well in a team environment and meet deadlines is essential. A strong work ethic, reliability, and attendance are top priorities.

This is primarily a support role requiring onsite work in our Delray Beach office.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with team members in our Delray Beach office.
  2. Provide remote help-desk support to end users.
  3. Complete assigned research and project-related tasks.
  4. Serve as Tier 2 escalation support for entry-level staff.
  5. Participate in design projects involving environments, connectivity, and cybersecurity.
  6. Create training materials and conduct training sessions for staff.
  7. Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks where feasible.
  8. Communicate effectively with customers and team members via in-person, phone, and email.
  9. Follow up post-job completion to ensure customer satisfaction.
  10. Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop, server, and network hardware.
  11. Setup, monitor, and maintain servers and environments, both hosted and on-premise.
  12. Configure and maintain secure connectivity across multiple locations and remote staff.
  13. Monitor and service backups, security systems, and other critical services.
  14. Provide basic end-user training on equipment and applications.
  15. Maintain thorough documentation of all support interactions.
  16. Work regular business hours and participate in after-hours emergency rotations as needed.

  • Desktop OS: Windows 7-11+, Mac OS X
  • Desktop Applications: MS Office, QuickBooks, ACT, etc.
  • Connectivity troubleshooting: multi-WAN, routing, wireless, fail-over
  • Network hardware: firewalls, routers, switches, VLANs
  • Command line, PowerShell, scripting
  • IP telephony concepts and technologies
  • Experience with virtualization: VMWare, Hyper-V
Education and Work Experience
  • 4-year college degree
  • 3-5 years in similar roles
  • Certifications (CompTIA, MS, Cisco, ITIL) are a plus
  • Ongoing education and certifications required annually
