Job summary

EquipmentShare is hiring a Network Technician at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO. You’ll ensure seamless network connectivity and infrastructure for new and existing branches nationwide, working with IT and operations to deploy, configure, and maintain critical network infrastructure.

You’ll manage IP schemes, provide hardware/software fault isolation, and help design secure, scalable networks. Requires Associate's degree in networking or 2+ years IT experience; US citizen; CCNA a

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Networking Technology or related field, or qualifying experience.
• US citizen.
• At least 2 years of experience in the IT industry.
• CCNA or similar certifications are a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in rolling out new markets with field-based installers.
• Manage, configure, and distribute IP addresses and subnets.
• Provide hardware and software fault isolation, repairs, installations, upgrades and lifecycle management.
• Implement and upgrade configurations for networks with security appliances, switches, wireless APs, cameras, etc.
• Maintain and support CAT6/CAT6A and fiber cabling.
• Document, test, and participate in change-control processes.
• Aid in design and implementation of new networks and security posture improvements.
• Be the go-to SME for tier 1 & 2 support teams.
