Alaska Communications in Anchorage is seeking a Lead/Supervisor to manage staff, schedule workloads, and ensure timely, cost-efficient completion of tasks. You will assess department objectives, coordinate projects, and mentor teams to meet performance targets while maintaining a safe work environment.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED with two years in a supervisory capacity, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to obtain a driver license (Alaska).

Assess business requirements and participate in initiatives to develop, document and implement consistent practices, policies, and procedures to support the goals and objectives of the Company.
High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of progressively responsible duties in a supervisory capacity, with at least one (1) year in a customer service or telecommunications industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
In order to perform the daily work of any of the positions reporting to them, the Lead or Foreman must meet the minimum qualifications of for the position(s) work they will perform.
Must also meet the Minimum Qualifications of the main classification that regularly reports to posted Lead or Foreman position.
If a journeyman level position or higher will report to the posted Lead or Foreman position, meeting the Minimum Qualifications of a journeyman level position would be preferred.
Possess and maintain a valid Alaska Driver's License. In addition, some positions may require the possession and maintenance of an Alaska Commercial Drivers License (COL) Class A or B, as well as a valid Certificate of Medical Examination (Medical Card), and pass a Drug and Alcohol Background check. Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.
