Hamilton Barnes ? seeks a Network Systems Engineer to design, deploy, secure, and optimize enterprise networks across hybrid and on‑prem environments. You will lead modernization efforts, support migrations, and drive automation for reliability and scalability.

The role focuses on Microsoft 365 GCC High administration, Azure services, identity management, and virtualization, with hands‑on responsibilities across VMware vSphere and Hyper‑V, plus backup solutions such as Veeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years administering Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Entra ID.
• Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 GCC High environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure administration and hybrid cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID, Active Directory, PowerShell, and 365 security capabilities.
• Experience supporting VMware vSphere and/or Hyper‑V environments.
• Experience administering enterprise backup solutions, preferably Veeam.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the Microsoft 365 GCC High environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Windows Autopilot.
• Design, implement, and support hybrid infrastructure solutions leveraging both on-premises and cloud technologies.
• Architect, deploy, and administer identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy, Conditional Access, and Intune.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Azure infrastructure services including VMs, VNets, Storage Accounts, App Services, and related services.
• Implement and support Microsoft 365 security and compliance capabilities, including Defender, DLP, Information Protection, and Purview.
• Design, deploy, and manage virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere and Hyper‑V.
• Administer enterprise infrastructure technologies including Cisco UCS, HPE Nimble Storage, HPE SimpliVity.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in routing, switching, network security, firewalls, wireless, and enterprise network technologies.

This role will focus on designing, deploying, securing, and optimizing network infrastructure while supporting network modernization, troubleshooting, migrations, and performance improvements.
