Job summary

The Amatriot Group seeks a Network/System Administrator II to organize, install, and support DoD government computer systems. You will work with LANs, WANs, and SAP environments, handling day-to-day operations and security monitoring.

Applicants must have an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly. Target salary range is $106,500–$107,000 and full-time on-site at Kirtland AFB, NM.

This represents the potential salary range for this position depending on education level, years of experience and/or certifications in addition to other position specific requirements which may impact salary

Position Overview

The Network/System Administrator II organizes, installs, and supports government computer systems, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), network segments, intranets, and other data communication systems. This role supports Special Access Programs (SAPs) for Department of Defense (DoD) agencies by providing day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities
Network and Systems Administration
  • Organize, install, and support government computer systems, including LANs, WANs, network segments, intranets, and other data communication systems.
  • Assist with architecting, designing, and analyzing network models.
  • Participate in decisions regarding hardware and software acquisitions to support infrastructure upgrades.
  • Provide technical support to computer users as needed.
  • Operate under supervision.
  • Execute day-to-day management and operation of systems and networks.
  • Provide day-to-day support for Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities.
Operations and Maintenance
  • Manage Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) products to collect, display, and remediate automated system security, operations, and performance functions and metrics.
  • Follow Operations and Maintenance (O&M) checklists to maintain services, including daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly tasks.
  • Develop Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) associated with service checklists.
Security Operations and Monitoring
  • Operate enterprise Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) monitoring tools and capabilities.
  • Create and tailor complex event alarms, rules, and summary reports.
  • Assist with technical risk analysis of emerging cybersecurity tools and processes upon request.
  • Participate as a member of a security incident response team as needed.
