Job summary

CSL is seeking a Network Strategy Lead to partner with the Head of Network Strategy to define CSL's long-term global manufacturing network strategy across products and sites. You will translate portfolio growth, lifecycle, and demand into integrated capacity, footprint, and sourcing plans.

The role requires building cross-functional networks, developing robust scenarios, and guiding investment decisions, with heavy interaction across manufacturing, engineering, finance, and R&D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of biopharmaceutical manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or network strategy experience.
• Experience with long-term capacity planning, site and asset planning, and capital decisions.
• Ability to develop strategic scenarios and business cases in a regulated environment.
• Experience supporting governance on capital investments and risk trade-offs.
• Experience leading global, matrixed teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of biologics or complex biopharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Oversight: develop and maintain integrated network strategies and roadmaps aligned with the 10-year plan.
• Long Term Capacity Planning: refresh network strategy via LTCP, align demand, capacity, and investments.
• Network Sourcing Evaluations: build data-driven scenarios and recommendations for capacity deployment and sourcing.
• Site Engagement: serve as network strategy rep for sites and align local plans with enterprise roadmap.
• Site Master Plans: collaborate with sites to align master plans with capacity and technology needs.
• Network Optimisation: lead asset optimisation using metrics to boost performance and scalability.
• Capital Expenditure Priority: translate roadmap into prioritized investments and governance materials.
• Monitor Environment: track risks and dependencies, escalate changes, support mitigation planning.
