Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a senior storage engineer to architect, deploy, and operate complex storage environments for DoD clients in the Indo-Pacific. You will design policies, optimize data access, and collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure resilient delivery.

With 8+ years in storage, you will mentor junior engineers and work across hybrid cloud environments, coordinating with stakeholders and delivery teams to meet mission requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, deploying, and configuring network storage solutions (SAN/NAS/object storage).
• Experience with provisioning storage and performance tuning for operational demand.
• Experience with backup and recovery planning and implementation, including configurations and policy.
• Experience with a major vendor such as Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience in virtual environment management such as VMware solutions.
• Experience with hybrid networks and virtualization technologies.
• Experience documenting and diagramming technical architectures.
• HS diploma or GED.

You Have

8+ years of experience designing, deploying, and configuringnetworkstorage solutions, including SAN,NAS,and object storage

Experience withprovisioning storageand performance tuningforoperational demand

Knowledge of federal information security policies , standards, procedures, directives, and frameworks, federal security authorizations, assessment, and risk management processes for enterprise systems

Storage Management and Administration Certification such as Dell, HPE, NetApp, AWS, or Azure Certification

Clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
