Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Storage Engineer to join a DoD program supporting the USMC located in Quantico, VA. The Network Storage Engineer will support our enterprise storage infrastructure, provisioning storage, applying patches, and maintaining data replication across global environments.

Responsibilities include overseeing SAN and backups, incident remediation via Remedy, troubleshooting storage issues, and leading junior staff.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of information technology experience.
• Experience with enterprise networks and storage systems (NetApp, Dell EMC, Pure Storage).
• Cloud storage platforms (AWS, EBS, S3, FSx) and patch management.
• CISSP or CASP+ (SecX) certifications and ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SAN environment, backups, and incident remediation with documentation.
• Use Remedy to monitor incidents and drive timely resolution.
• Troubleshoot storage issues, analyze requirements, ensure compliance, monitor capacity.
• Provide senior leadership to junior team members.
