What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Communicate effectively with project managers and teams to ensure cost-effective construction of Outside Plant facilities
• Design Outside Plant projects and supervise consultants coordinating designs across multiple locations
• Create project cost estimates including labor, materials, and overheads
• Provide engineering support for sales teams and conduct Outside Plant facilities verification
• Review and verify documentation for project handoffs to ensure accuracy and compliance

What is Required (Qualifications)

• Associate degree (or higher) or 2+ years of professional work experience
• 2+ years of experience in voice/data/video networking
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance
• Familiarity with Outside Plant design and construction methods
• Ability to manage changing priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with utility coordination and understanding of RUS units and standards
• Familiarity with NESC rules and pole loading analysis
• Knowledge of One Touch Make Ready (OTMR) processes
