Job summary

Danta Technologies in San Jose is hiring a Network Software Test Engineer for a long-term onsite role. You will join a hands-on team focused on validating network software and solutions, with 5 openings and a pay rate of $65/hr on W2.

Responsibilities include engaging with customers to clarify requirements, building test environments, developing test frameworks and benchmarking tools, and performing root-cause analysis on complex issues. Remote work not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 7+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 4+ years or PhD with 1+ year.
• 3+ years of experience in Python automation scripting (e.g., PyTest).
• 2+ years of experience in configuring, testing, or debugging networking systems and solutions.
• Familiarity with L2/L3 networking, BGP, ECMP and VXLAN/E-VPN fabrics is expected.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather and clarify requirements.
• Build and maintain testing environments for system and solution validation.
• Develop and enhance test frameworks and benchmarking tools.
• Define metrics and gather data for network performance benchmarking.
• Conduct hands-on troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex issues.
• Contribute to technical projects and share expertise to grow the team.
