Job summary

Annapurna Labs, an Amazon subsidiary, is seeking a Software Development Engineer to contribute across the ENA Express stack—from Nitro Card firmware to user-space libraries and performance analytics. You will own features end-to-end on a fleet of EC2 instances, collaborating with hardware, firmware, and platform teams to push the boundaries of network performance.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in professional software development, a CS degree, and strong C/C++ systems programming background in

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Background in systems programming (C / C++) in performance-critical environments.

Responsibilities

Design and develop features across the AWS Networking software stack on Nitro Cards.
Deep-dive into ENA Express and the SRD protocol to optimize packet delivery and latency.
Collaborate with hardware and firmware partners to define software/hardware interfaces.
Partner with EC2 platform and service teams to integrate ENA Express features into the AWS network ecosystem.
Drive operational excellence: observability, on-call health, and post-mortems.
