Job summary

Flow Control Group is seeking an IT Network Services Manager to lead a multi-site team responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of the enterprise network across its brands. You will own network architecture, security, and service delivery to ensure uptime and business continuity.

The role requires 7+ years in network engineering, 3+ years in leadership, and certifications such as Fortinet FCP/NSE or CCNP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or engineering.
• 7+ years of network engineering, infrastructure, or network operations experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical infrastructure or network engineering teams.
• Experience supporting multi-site organizations and acquisition-driven environments.
• Industry certifications such as Fortinet FCP/NSE, CCNP, Aruba Certified Professional, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent preferred.

The IT Network Services Manager leads Flow Control Group's enterprise network services organization, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable network connectivity across multiple sites and brands. This role leads a team of Network Engineers and is accountable for network architecture, telecommunications, security, service availability, operational performance, business continuity, and strategic network initiatives that support growth, acquisitions, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management:

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Network Engineers.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and career development planning.
• Manage workload balancing, project prioritization, escalation management, and resource planning activities.
• Participate in recruiting, onboarding, training, and succession planning activities.
• Promote a culture of accountability, operational excellence, customer service, and continuous improvement.

Service Delivery Oversight & Performance:

• Own delivery, availability, and performance of enterprise network services across Flow Control Group sites and brands.
• Monitor network uptime, capacity utilization, service health, and operational continuity to meet business objectives.
• Drive improvements in MTTA, MTTR, SLA attainment, ticket aging, service reliability, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex network incidents, outages, and service disruptions.
• Establish and maintain service response standards and corrective action plans for urgent incidents and recurring infrastructure challenges.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Security, Service Delivery, and brand management to support acquisitions, expansions, and strategic initiatives.

Network Architecture, Security & Engineering:

• Own the design, implementation, configuration, and lifecycle management of enterprise network infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain architecture standards for WAN, LAN, WLAN, network security, telecommunications services, and cloud connectivity.
• Define and maintain network engineering standards, deployment procedures, and configuration baselines across all locations.
• Lead network due diligence, integration planning, architecture alignment, and technology onboarding for acquisitions, new sites, relocations, and expansions.
• Manage Fortinet, Aruba/HPE, and related enterprise networking technologies.
• Establish and enforce secure network architecture, firewall policies, VPN connectivity, segmentation strategies, and access controls.
• Manage firmware lifecycle, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and network compliance initiatives.
• Develop and maintain the enterprise network roadmap aligned with business growth and acquisition strategy.

Telecommunications, Vendor Management & Business Continuity:

• Manage ISP, carrier, VoIP, telephony, and telecommunications providers.
• Oversee circuit ordering, provisioning, upgrades, renewals, decommissioning, and lifecycle management activities.
• Manage third-party network service providers, strategic partners, vendor performance, and service agreements.
• Lead network disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.
• Own backup, recovery, and configuration management processes for network devices, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and telecommunications platforms.
• Develop resiliency strategies to minimize operational risk and downtime during service disruptions.

Technical Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, WAN, LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and network security technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls and Aruba/HPE networking platforms.
• Experience supporting geographically distributed, multi-site network environments.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, alerting, logging, performance management, and ITSM platforms.
• Experience with telecommunications, VoIP systems, carrier services, and circuit management.
• Understanding of network security architecture, disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure resilience planning.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, vendors, leaders, and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of network engineering, infrastructure, or network operations experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical infrastructure or network engineering teams.
• Experience supporting multi-site organizations and acquisition-driven environments.
• Demonstrated success improving SLA attainment, MTTA, MTTR, uptime, and operational performance metrics.
• Industry certifications such as Fortinet FCP/NSE, CCNP, Aruba Certified Professional, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent certifications preferred.
