Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Network & Security Infrastructure Engineer to join our Washington, DC office or work remotely. You will lead a major re-architecture of the VMware ESXi environment to enable robust firewall and VLAN segmentation, while supporting Check Point and Palo Alto security platforms and Cisco/Aruba networks.

The role requires 5+ years in network security engineering, with deep expertise across virtualization, networking, and security operations.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in network security engineering or related infrastructure.
Hands-on with Check Point and Palo Alto platforms preferred.
Experience re-architecting VMware ESXi environments in an enterprise setting.
Ability to design VLAN segmentation, firewall policy, and security operations at scale.

Responsibilities

Lead major re-architecture of VMware ESXi to support firewall and VLAN segmentation across the enterprise.
Provide dedicated firewall support and administer Check Point and Palo Alto environments.
Support Cisco-based networking and Aruba wireless security operations.
Collaborate across cybersecurity, systems administration, and technology support teams.
Document architecture, configurations, and security procedures clearly.
