About the Role

Security Engineers at GuidePoint Security are experienced professionals who are autonomous, self-driven, and passionate about security. Our Security Engineers are involved in the complete security technologies lifecycle, from pre-sales to delivery, with the freedom to scope and deliver engagements. As both a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) and a professional services organization, we require our Security Engineers to continually expand their knowledge of the latest security technologies.

Position Details

Note: This is a remote position, with a preference for applicants in the eastern or central time zones. Applicants must reside in the U.S.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Provide effective network security implementation and consulting services for diverse customers and environments.
2. Implement and manage SASE technologies from Zscaler, Palo Alto, or Netskope.
3. Implement and manage firewall platforms from Palo Alto, Check Point, and Fortigate.
4. Develop high-level network security documentation, including as-builts, recommendations, implementation guides, and network diagrams.
5. Travel up to 25% to client locations in New England and the New York Metro area.

Required Experience

1. 3 to 5 years of Network Security Engineering experience in enterprise environments.
2. Experience in a consultative or professional services role supporting external customers.
3. Hands-on experience deploying and integrating SASE technologies such as ZScaler, Netskope, Palo Alto, iBoss, Broadcom.
4. Firewall experience with Palo Alto, Check Point, or Fortigate.
5. Broad knowledge of foundational security concepts.
6. Experience authoring security runbooks, policies, and best practice documentation.
7. SDWAN experience is a plus.

Salary Range

$110,000 - $160,000
